This is how one can define ad filmmaker Prahlad Kakkar, the man who broke moulds and created icons. Besides a highly successful filmmaking career, Prahlad Kakkar has found time to pursue whatever he has always been fascinated with.
Prahlad Kakkar was at ‘Short Cuts' with twenty-five of his best films and everything he stands for!
The audience also had a chance to see the world through the eyes of two promising young filmmakers who expressed their creativity through their short films. Shravan Katikaneni with ‘Blur' and Muthu Vijayan with ‘Silencer' were there personally to premiere their films and rub their shoulders with the big P of the advertising world, Prahlad Kakkar.
It was a blend of creativity and experimentation as Shravan and Muthu presented their creations along side a man, who knows almost everything about the medium – Prahlad Kakkar, the ad guru. The audience lapped up every bit of biting humour from the wacky and irreverent Mr. Kakkar.
